"Job Opportunities: Process Development Manager " ViaSystems Process Development Manager (2 vacancies)
Job Nature
§ Accountable for leading continuous improvement projects across different divisions and location
§ Work directly with site leaders and management to proactively address the process and system improvement among all core functional areas
§ Introduce best practices of increasing overall organizational capability and effectiveness
§ Streamline project management process, and to have Value Stream Mapping of the business concerned partners on resolution of order fulfillment, sampling, supply chain, production and logistics issues
§ Develop and implement process & system improvement strategies to make high impact process improvement, inventories reduction, and responsiveness improvement to customer demands through the optimization of resources and work of the suppliers’ operation
§ Act as change agent – challenge old way of doing business and drive for improvements, and to identify projects and processes changes for non-value added process elimination and implement breakthrough improvements.
§ Align continuous improvement strategies with the Group and Corporate to drive productivity and operational efficiency
Job Requirements
§ Degree holder in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, MBA or related disciplines
§ With professional qualification in APICS certification CPIM and/or CSCP, PMP, PRINCE2, CPM, CIPS, CLLT, or equivalent is preferred
§ At least 8 years’ post qualification experience in consultancy firms / manufacturing industries, with MNC exposure is preferred
§ Solid experience in business process and system improvement
§ With 1st tier ERP system experience and best practice knowledge (SAP / Oracle) is preferable (with experience in FourthShift ERP, Kinaxis Response MRP, Constraint Manager Systems are definitely advantage)
§ Familiar with project management in manufacturing industries and know-well of the operational linkage among Sales, Customer Services, Supply Chain Management & Planning, Engineeringand Production
§ With proven track records in continuous improvement programs, i.e Kaizen, 6 Sigma, 3P, Lean Manufacturing
§ Good team player, posses strong analytical skill & project management, and with effective in communication
§ With high assertiveness and effective influencing skills for making projects realization and success
§ Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese/Mandarin
§ Frequent travel to PRC is required
§ Working location: Tsuen Wan
